Why quotes grow

The hourly rate is rarely the problem. It's everything added after it.

How it works

Three steps. No back-and-forth.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your move

Two ZIPs, a date and your home size. About 60 seconds.

  2. 02

    Confirm your crew & rate

We call, recommend 2 or 3 movers, and lock your date at the winter rate.

  3. 03

Move day: clock in, clock out

The clock starts at your door and stops when the last item is placed. You pay hours × rate.

Why we're doing this

Winter is slow for Chicago movers. We'd rather keep our crews busy than pad your bill.

So for the season, we cut every add-on and kept one honest hourly rate. It's available for moves booked by Nov 30 — and once our winter calendar fills, it's gone.

On the job

Flat rate doesn't mean fast and careless. Here's what your hours actually pay for.

A low price only works if nothing gets scratched, dented or dropped. So every piece gets wrapped, every doorway gets padded, and every floor gets covered before the first box moves. These are our crews, on real Chicago moves. No stock photos.

  • Every piece wrapped before it leaves the room
  • Floors and doorways covered before we start
  • Furniture taken apart and put back together right
